Jose Hernandez Diaz is a Mexican American writer, editor, and teacher. He is the author of four poetry collections, including The Lighthouse Tattoo (Acre Books, 2026); Bad Mexican, Bad American (Acre Books, 2024); and The Fire Eater (Texas Review Press, 2020).
A 2017 National Endowment for the Arts Poetry Fellow, Diaz lives in Norwalk, California.
