Editorial Services
Luis Torres founded Torres & Company with the vision to help others on their journey toward academic excellence and publication. He has served students as a lecturer at the university level for several years, and he is the submissions editor for Poetry International. He is also an executive member of the WB Yeats Poetry Society of New York, which operates out of the National Arts Club.
Luis was recently interviewed by the faculty of the Department of English at Harvard University for a PhD in English, and he is in a unique position to share what steps he took to become a finalist for the program. He is en route to becoming a PhD student and a professor of literature. He has the knowledge and the expertise to assist others as they prepare material for undergraduate and graduate schools.
Luis applied and was successfully admitted to Emory University and to a creative writing graduate program directed by poets Sandra Alcosser and Blas Falconer.
He has published poetry and prose extensively in literary journals of the likes of Rattle, The Rumpus, Los Angeles Review, Portland Review, and Laurel Review.
